A gentle and understated piece—a 20” necklace with square black oxidized sterling silver rod measuring 1.5 inches, featuring an ear post in the middle.The term "baton" holds various meanings, and the one I find most meaningful inspired the name for this piece. Much like an orchestra conductor guides musicians with a baton, this piece serves as a reminder that you are in charge of directing your own life. Life's uncertainties are beyond our control, yet finding the strength to accept the unchangeable and summoning the courage to alter what we can is a powerful act of self-protection—much like the purpose of a baton. Now, you hold your own symbolic baton—a gentle affirmation that you have the ability to shape and direct your unique journey.
Care
Sterling Silver, Fine Silver, or Gold are utilized in my designs and may naturally tarnish or oxidize over time. To slow down this process, avoid exposing your jewelry to humidity and heat, and be mindful of your skin's pH. Refrain from showering or swimming with your jewelry, store it outside the bathroom, and consider using a ziplock bag with an anti-tarnish strip. Use a Silver polishing cloth for maintenance, but be cautious with chemical-based liquids, especially if your piece includes stones, as they may not be suitable.

Please be aware that I personally oxidize each piece by hand, which may result in slight unevenness. While I apply a special wax for protection, prolonged wear could lead to rubbing off in certain areas, influenced by your skin's pH.
