Mala is a Sanskrit word meaning garland and it is a set of beads traditionally used for counting while reciting mantras, prayers, intentions, or even to aid in counting breaths. Personally, I love to use my mala when I’m meditating, however, I also often wear it during the day to remind myself to stay balanced and true to my own path.

Making malas is a very therapeutic undertaking for me and I like to think that all of the love and positive energy generated during the mala's creation eventually makes its way to you as you wear it.

Among the 108 Amazonite beads, you'll find lava stone marking beads at the 7th and 21st position in either direction from the guru bead or tassel. These lava stone marking beads can also be used to absorb essential oils for aromatherapy or other healing practices.

The signature tassel finish is sterling silver and stamped with a lotus flower and my signature hummingbird logo. The tassel is handmade and will incorporate most of the colors of the natural beads.
